Baby Einstein DVD Collection Moms' #1 Choice!

10:12:00 PM

As a first time mom, you cannot help but to worry on how your baby's growth development would become. Every child's development comes naturally but I believe using mediums such as educational toys, books and whatnots could help to boost our child's brain activity.

Baby Einstein is the only infant video I have tried for Cloud to watch with. We started using it when he was 5 months old and now that he is 8 months old, he even more enjoyed watching it. Now, he responds for every sound nor cute images that caught his attention which is really rewarding for me. But of course, I limit my son infront of the television for 1 to 2 hours per day so he can play with his toys for the rest of the day.

I purchased Baby Einstein from @ohbabyph via Shopee for Php 885.
Great Minds Start Little. Invented by a mom to reflect a baby's unique perspective, Baby Einstein videos enrich, stimulate, and provide boundless opportunities for you and your little one to interact with each other.

All out videos are set to music specially reorchestrated for little ears. We encourage you to watch with your baby and enjoy the sights and sounds together!
It is overwhelming at first in choosing which of these I want to play because they are quite a LOT hehehe. After browsing, I chose the basics: the language nursery, my first signs, world animals, neighborhood animals and discovering shapes. Since they play 30 minutes each, I replaced them after or click the repeat play if I'm lazy to replace the dvd hehehe.

Baby Einstein also has Bonus Materials in each CD like Digital Puzzle and extra games to play with your child.

What are things you gave to your child to boost their brain development?
We also have books and stuff toys but haven't tried wooden blocks.
I would love to hear yours in the comment section below.

Thank you for reading beauties!

Much Love,

Mommy Mhaan

  1. I've heard so much about Baby Einsteins! :) Right now, we're happy making Baby Charley listen to classical music and piano playlists of Disney songs. Thank you for sharing. I will definitely give Baby Einstein a try in the future. :)

    1. I tried listening to classical music but he was still inside my tummy and since you mentioned it, will try to do it again. Thank you! :)

  2. My daughter is now 7 and she will join their poster-making contest at school few days from now. When she was younger, we always let her draw, we buy her lots of crayons and drawing materials. I always, always read to her at night before she sleeps. I'm very hands-on. She can read shapes and color at age 2! So now, medyo we're reaping its fruits. Kaya tiyagain mo lang, mommy. Nakaka-proud ang may anak na ismarte. :)

    1. Wow congrats mommy! I wish my little one would love art din. As much as possible we read books before going to bed kahit sinisira ni lo yung pages hehehe.

  3. Same feelings when I had my girl was born. I was so concerned sa brain development and had to purchase a lot of books. But ngayon with my son, I heavily rely on YouTube videos. Haha

    1. Ganun ata talaga kapag first baby, nakakapraning pero kapag second na okay na kahit ano hehehe.

  4. wow, 885 nalang! this was so expensive (per piece) when my daughter was a baby! parang 300 ata per pc if i remember right?! :) it works though

    1. I saw them too in Eastwood mall and they sell it per cd which costs 300+. I really saved a lot! :)

  5. Great deal ha, when my son was still a baby these cost way higher! My son is into songs right now so we just YouTube, and he builds a lot using his Mega Bloks, wooden blocks, and just about anything he can get his hands on. :)

    1. Lo ko naman nasa will-throw-everything-in-my-hands stage pa lols.

  6. I know lots of other mommy friends who have also been on Baby Einstein videos. Even upto this day, the kids know the songs by heart.

    1. I agree, lagi ko nga kinakantahan lo ko ng theme song nila hehehe

  7. I agree with the lower price tag. It was way higher before, which is why I resorted to borrowing. Hehe. I'm also glad that there are quality videos for kids readily available in YouTube these days. Though they're not meant as a substitute for actual teachings, they really do help in the kids' learning.

  8. Remembered the overwhelming days with the eldest - things needed to do, mga bawal, learning books and videos to avail, classical music to play, right food and all... but with the second child, kebs na…lol :D

    1. Nako malamang ganyan din ako kapag may second baby na kami hehehe
